Information Dissemination

What is Information Dissemination?
The KUCD Information Dissemination team communicates information to people locally, across the country, and around the world. Our goal is to increase the participation of people with disabilities and their families in research projects, training and community engagement activities, and information sharing efforts. We work with other Center units to create materials that are interesting and accessible to our audiences. KUCD creates and shares products that translate research into practice and support inclusive research, training, community engagement, and information dissemination activities.
KUCD is committed to using many ways of sharing information that use principles of universal design, accessibility, and inclusion to ensure that all people have access to information. All materials use person-first and identity-first language, based on preferences, and represent positive images of people with disabilities and their families as active members of their communities.
