We are dedicated to helping individuals with developmental disabilities and their families access and use community services that promote inclusion and integration. We offer a variety of services throughout the state to individuals of all ages.

Assistive Technology for Kansans

Assistive Technology for Kansans (ATK) connects people of all ages with disabilities and health conditions with the assistive technology they need to learn, work, play and participate in community life safely and independently.

Telehealth

Telehealth is a collaborative program between the KUCDD in Parsons, Kansas, and the KU Center for Telemedicine and Telehealth. It provides local health care needs and problems that are amenable to a telemedicine approach.

This resource provides people with disabilities, their families, and those that support them with resources that might be useful to enhance learning and engagement at home and in navigating health and safety during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kansas Disability and Health Program

The Kansas Disability and Health Program (DHP) helps  improve the health and quality of life of Kansans with disabilities by increasing access to programs and services that promote healthy living.

Kansas Inservice Training System

The Kansas Inservice Training System (KITS) project provides training, technical assistance, and resources for early intervention and early childhood special education program staff through collaborative activities on a comprehensive statewide basis.

The Self-Determination Inventory System (SDIS) is a free, online system of tools that can be used to understand self-determination in young people. It includes three assessments

State of the States in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

The State of the States in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Project investigates the determinants of public spending for intellectual and developmental disabilities services including revenue, spending, and programmatic trends in the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the United States as a whole.
