What is the KU SCEC?

We are fundraising to keep the KU student chapter of the Council for Exceptional Children (SCEC) thriving! All proceeds from the Summer Institute will support the professional development of our scholars on topics related to supporting students and people with disabilities. Also, we will use funds for volunteering with the local community of people with disabilities. Finally, we support our chapter officers to attend the National CEC conference each year so they can be involved with a professional organization and represent KU.
