Implementation Science and Practice

The purpose of this research unit is to improve the use of evidence-based and high-quality practices in authentic learning and service settings. In partnership with service recipients and providers, we apply implementation frameworks to improve the understanding, supports, and use of practices across stages of implementation (e.g.,  exploration, adoption, implementation, sustainment). Our work centers people with disabilities and social and behavioral support needs, the ultimate recipient of an intervention and their communities addressing needs and leveraging facilitators and strengths across levels of influence (individual, classroom, team, organizational, systems, policy).
