Project Description

 

Major Goals and Objectives of the Project 
 

  • Test the effects of BASIS-T (Beliefs and Attitudes for Successful Implementation in Schools for Teachers) on the implementation and student outcomes (prosocial behavior, academic engagement and performance, problem behaviors) of an evidence-based prevention program (Positive Greetings at the Door, [PGD]).
  • Test the mechanisms by which BASIS-T is expected to improve PGD implementation and student outcomes (mediation).
  • Determine if the effects of BASIS-T depend on school or teacher characteristics (moderation).
  • Determine the cost of implementing BASIS-T.
