KUCD Kids


The purpose of this research unit is to:

  • Advance high-quality, inclusive early learning experiences for children birth to 3rd grade across home, community, and school environments.
  • We are also focused on training the next generation of early childhood educators across early intervention, early childhood special education, and primary elementary education settings.
  • Our doctoral leadership training program focuses on training the next generation of innovative thinkers in the area of early childhood.
  • We aim to engage the early childhood community to support collaborative professional development, training, and community engaged research across any contexts.
  • We aim to be a trusted resource and source of collaborative teaming and solutions-oriented problem solving for the early childhood community in the state of Kansas.
