Kansas Department of Labor Equitable Transition Model: Employment Support Worker Training

Project Description

The goal is to build and enhance Kansas capacity to deliver high-quality employment services across services and systems so that a person with a disability or their family has access to consistent, coordinated, and high-quality services regardless of whether the employment provider is with a school, vocational rehabilitation, home and community-based service provider, workforce center, or other organization. Participants in this program will also learn effective ways to increase employer engagement for employers who are interested in hiring, retaining, and providing advancement opportunities for Kansans with disabilities.
