Enhancing Engagement: Investigating Adaptations to Commonly Used Interventions for Elementary Students with Challenging Behavior


Project Description

 

The purpose of this project is to: 

  1. Develop my methodological and management skills as a special education researcher,
  2. Develop 3 adapted intervention decision making models (DMMs) to support teacher implementation of three low intensity behavioral interventions for K-2 students with or at risk for behavioral disorders (EBD)
  3. Evaluate the promise of the DMMs in K-2 general education classrooms to improve student engagement during academic instruction.
