Ashley Taconet, Ph.D.

Dr. Taconet’s studies what supports people with disabilities to be successful after they leave high school. This is also called predictors of postschool outcomes. She focuses especially on how to measure and support self-determination. Her work also includes fostering inclusive research practices within KUCD, while promoting and educating on inclusive research broadly. At KUCD, Dr. Taconet supports the Responsitory. The Responsitory is our self-determination data collection and management system. Dr. Taconet has experience working in many different areas including transition education, inclusive postsecondary education, and adult services. These experiences shape her work.
