Early Childhood and School-Based Research
Through early childhood and school-based research, KUCD supports families and teachers to advance high-quality, inclusive learning experiences across home, community, and school environments. Our team develops evidence-based tools and resources to support people with disabilities from early childhood through postsecondary education.
Comprehensive training and technical support provided by KUCD ensures that early childhood communities, teachers, and administrators are supported throughout the implementation process.
We seek to:
- Develop and scale evidence-based resources to support students with disabilities in achieving academic success.
- Support teachers and schools to enhance inclusive education through continuing education and technical assistance.
- Train and support the next generation of special education teachers, researchers, and community leaders.
