Baylee Kilburn

Baylee graduated from the University of Kansas in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies. She joined KUCD in 2021 as an Administrative Assistant and has since advanced through several roles, including Research Project Specialist and Coordinator. She currently serves as a Research Project Manager at KUCD, where she leads and supports project management activities, including coordinating timelines, managing deliverables, and facilitating collaboration across teams and partners. Her work spans both community-based and school-based projects. 

During her time at KUCD, Baylee has contributed to several research projects, including the State of the States in Intellectual Developmental Disabilities project, the Kansas Navigator Series project, the My Transition My Career (MTMC) project, the Kansas Youth Transition Network (KYTN) project, and the GSC App-SDLMI project. She is currently supporting MTMC, KYTN, and the GSC App–SDLMI project. In addition to her work on research projects, Baylee served as a co-lead of KUCD’s Plain Language Team, helping to establish the team in 2022, and currently serves as a co-lead of KUCD’s Community Connections Committee.
